International Visits

For International Exposure the University organizes international tours and visits for the students to help them:

Following are the details of a few international visits organized by the University:

Global Entrepreneurs Programme: Training/ Internship in Europe, Latin America, Africa and Asia

The University has arranged an extensive ‘Global Entrepreneurs Programme’ in collaboration with US based AIESEC, a Non Profit International Organization, to provide its students with a unique combination of multi-cultural entrepreneurial, social and leadership experience. Under this program, the students get an opportunity to go and work abroad on a host of social issues ranging from Entrepreneurship, Business Models on sustainability, Development Studies, Human Rights for ethnic groups, Cultural Education, Youth Education, Environment, HIV/AIDS etc.

USA Visit: A second batch of 15 Students went on 4 Weeks Study Tour to USA to learn the Culture there

In order to let its students of MBA have a great International Business Exposure, the University arranged a four weeks educational tour to the University of North Carolina(UNC) at Charlotte in United States for the second batch its students. A group of 15 students and a faculty member has proceeded under a definite schedule of interesting opportunities for interaction with American culture both on the UNC campus and in the community.

USA Visit: 62 MBA students went to USA for International Exposure

A team of 62 students of LPU visited USA, University of North Carolina, Charlotte, for one month Industrial/academic tour in June 2009. During their one month long trip the students visited the eminent corporate houses like office of IBM and Federal Reserve Bank of America. The exposure provided them with knowhow and expertise regarding business cultures prevailing in both technology and management oriented organizations.

Singapore Visit: Industrial/Academic Visit in collaboration with MDIS Singapore

A team of 13 students of MBA (International) programme went to Singapore for a week long Industrial/Academic visit in last week of January 2010. The visit was a part of the international exposure requirement of the academic curriculum of the programme, designed specially to create global human resources capable of handling job positions demanding internationally acclaimed skills. International Exposure to countries emerging as economic powerhouses adds tremendously to the understanding of business fundamentals of the students. In Singapore, the students visited a host of government owned business units as well as various corporate establishments of private ownership.

Singapore Visit: Industrial Visit for Global Exposure
A batch of 68 students of MBA (International) went on an industrial visit to Singapore in February 2009. The tour equipped the students with the required global exposure and international perspective which will provide them with a deep insight into the global business trends and latest management practices. A total of 5 industries and 4 educational institutes in Singapore were visited.
