“Global Village” helps to showcase best of cultures of different countries represented by LPU’s foreign students and interns. It helps to learn the cultural heritage of various countries and celebrate the unity in diversity. Following Events has been organized in the University under “Global Village”:

Shri Baldev Raj Mittal Auditorium got transformed into a global cultural melting pot as a festival by the name of “Global Village” showcased the best of cultures of countries represented by the foreign interns working at Lovely Professional University. Interns from 8 different countries i.e. Lithuania, Turkey, Cameroon, Sweden, Chile, Brazil, Russia and Ivory Coast, put of a marvelous display of the best of what their respective countries have to offer to the world. |

16 August 2010: Students of more than 20 Countries represented their Culture in Global Village Fair at LPU |
In an era of rapid globalization, a grand ‘Global Village’ Fair was organized in the University through AIESEC-a global students’ organization. Student-Representatives from more than 20 countries including Switzerland, Poland, Russia, Ukraine, Turkey, Ivory-Coast, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Mauritius, China etc. exhibited rich and varied Culture of their respective countries. They had formed their separate stalls to interact with the students from 25 states of India and 15 other countries of the University. They shared with them the peculiarities of their culture, creed and civilization through different manners and methods. |
