About International Office

The International Office of Lovely Professional University is a University-wide resource that supports University's internationalization strategy by developing and coordinating activities and services designed to create and enhance a globally aware and culturally diverse education and research environment in the University.

Following are the activities undertaken by the International Office:

  • Hosting international visitors
  • Launching new international programmes for Indian as well as international students
  • Setting up and managing Exchange Programmes and International Exposure Tours
  • Participating in education exhibitions around the world to meet and counsel prospective students overseas.
  • Developing agreements for the academic exchange and research co-operation
  • Developing Partnerships and Tie- ups with foreign universities and institutes across the globe
  • Providing the following support and services to the international Students:
    • Advising, admission, registration and orientation services to ensure that the students get the best possible opportunities available out in the real world
    • Support and assistance from application to arrival, and beyond
    • Single window service facility and support
    • Round the clock support
    • English language support through the English Language Programme, run throughout the year
    • International Orientation programme immediately prior to each semester
    • A referral point for other support services available at the University
    • Advising students on visa requirements, medical insurance and other general concerns
    • Assistance with adjusting in the new environment
    • Free pick-up facility
